New Life Presbyterian Church is an intimate, welcoming family of believers and seekers from diverse spiritual backgrounds, striving to be a cooperative and mutually respectful community in which to pursue our individual and collective relationships with God. We carry out God's mission for New Life as a joyful, sensitive faith community modeled on the inclusive and healing love of Jesus Christ.   We reflect Christ's love to all who come through our doors, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, race or economic status.   We extend this ethic to our pastor, elders and deacons.
New Life Presbyterian Church is an intimate, welcoming family. We are open to freedom of interpretation of Scripture. The power of prayer is a dynamic force at New Life. Music is a vital part of our service. Our music is drawn from a wellspring of traditions, countries, and styles.	Worship is warm, informal and creative. We worship at round tables to signify inclusivity, connection and equality. We practice freedom of expression in worship, inviting participation from the whole congregation. We host an ancient form of walking meditation called the labyrinth. We carry out God's mission for New Life as a joyful, sensitive faith community. Bible Studies - Advent and Lenten Bible studies, book studies related to our combined Christian experience. The Sunday Circle plants a neighborhood garden every spring.  Our neighbors are encouraged to help us weed, water, and enjoy the vegetables.
Special Services and Activities We invite visitors to join us in worship and in any activities, classes, special services and events including: Holy Week - Special contemplative services throughout the week, Easter egg hunt for the children, Easter breakfast. Advent - Hanging of the greens the first Sunday in Advent, Christmas caroling to shut-ins, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Advent Devotional Book written by the congregation, Church in the Mountains (worship outdoors), Pentecost Tongues of Fire Barbecue, Special Healing Services, Harvest Dinner in the fall, Sunday Circle Special Activities Adult education, children's education, women's circles, prayer chain, prayer and share meetings.
