The Last Week: What the Gospels Really Teach About Jesus’s Final Days in Jerusalem,
Marcus J. Borg and John Dominic Crossan

“Borg and Crossan brilliantly chronicle the mounting tension that forced everyone in Jesus’s path to pledge allegiance – either to Rome’s way of power and oppression or to his way of love New Life Lenten Bible Study
and equality.”  Los Angeles Times.

Our Lenten study takes us into the matrix of the first century. The setting is crucial; the events are both symbolic and costly; the message confronts and invites. There are two options for gathering for this study:
Wednesday evenings following a simple meal at 5:30, we study from 6-7:15
Sunday mornings, with coffee and bagels, we study from 9-10:15

Books are available, at a cost of $11.50, in the church office. The study will pause during Holy Week and resume for two or three more sessions during the season of April.  Questions?  Contact, Kay Huggins or Didi Acosta
